Pecan Pie with Vitality

This is my FAVORITE Pecan Pie Recipe!

Pecan Pie with Young Living Essential Oils


1 2/4 cups organic white sugar (or your choice alternative)

1/4 cup dark corn syrup (or your choice alternative)

1/4 cup salted butter

1 tablespoon cold water

2 teaspoons cornstarch

1 1/4 cup pecans

2 tsp vanilla

1 tsp salt

3 eggs

3 drops Clove Vitality Essential Oil

3 drops Cinnamon Bark Vitality Essential Oil

If you have substitutes for the corn syrup or white sugar, feel free to use! I personally think it's okay to "splurge" once a year. I mean, it’s Thanksgiving 😜 It's all about balance 


-Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

-In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, butter, water, and cornstarch. Bring to a full boil, and remove from heat.

-In a large bowl, beat eggs until frothy. Gradually beat in cooked syrup mixture. Stir in salt, vanilla, essential oils, and pecans. Pour into pie shell. (I use pre-made gluten free pie shells)

*Be sure to cover pie edges with foil while baking.

-Bake in preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until filling is set.

Set aside to cool and finish setting, or put in the fridge to cool faster.
